Not at all. Kailua Bay’s calm, protected water is one of the best places on Oʻahu to learn SUP. We’ll walk you through the basics before you head out, and our wide, stable boards do most of the work for you.
Every rental includes the board, an adjustable paddle, a leash, and a Coast Guard-approved life jacket. We’ll have everything fitted and ready for you before you launch.
Early morning is magic on Kailua Bay — typically the flattest, calmest water of the day before the trade winds fill in. We open at 8am, so come first thing to catch the best conditions.
